The Big Dog Steel Plate Rack is engineered for unmatched durability and performance. Each rack is designed to take thousands of rounds and keep running smooth. Targets reset easily with a simple pull of the rope — our upgraded reset mechanism makes it effortless.

Built Like a Tank

Every critical component is made from premium American-milled AR500 steel, including the:

• Front shield

• Hinges

• Lift arms

• Leg brackets and supports

• Pivot arms

Only the round tube and angle legs are not AR500 — everything else is the same high-quality steel used in our targets. Legs are made from 1/4″ thick heavy-duty angle, designed to slip in place for fast setup, transport, or replacement. The lifting arm is rubberized to soften impact and protect the tube from repeated hits.

Tool-Free Target Swaps

Changing out targets has never been easier. The lift bar is secured by (2) heavy stainless steel pins hidden behind the AR500 front shield. Remove the cotter pins, slip out the lift arm, and the targets drop below their normal height — ready to be rocked out of the hinge through a precision-cut slot.
The hinge design ensures a full range of motion while preventing targets from disengaging during operation.

Heavy-Duty Reset System

We use a braided and coated steel cable — not a flimsy rope or strap. Simply tie your own rope or paracord through the built-in loop, and you’re ready to shoot. Each target includes Grade 8 hardware for easy angle adjustment and long-term reliability.
