The Big Dog Steel Plate Rack is built for shooters who demand durability, reliability, and easy operation. Designed to withstand thousands of rounds, this rack is built around heavy-duty American-milled AR500 steel and a rugged reset system that keeps the targets running smoothly.

A simple pull of the reset rope brings the targets back into position, while our upgraded reset mechanism makes resetting the rack quick and effortless.

Built Like a Tank

We didn’t cut corners on the components that take the most abuse. All critical components are manufactured from premium American-milled AR500 steel, including:

• Front shield
• Hinges
• Lift arms
• Pivot arms
• Leg brackets and supports

The only components not made from AR500 are the round tubing and angle-iron legs.

The legs are constructed from 1/4″ thick heavy-duty angle and are designed to slip securely into place for quick setup, easy transport, and simple replacement if ever needed.

The lifting arm features a rubberized contact surface that helps absorb impact and protects the tubing from repeated target strikes.

Tool-Free Target Changes

Changing targets is quick and simple with no tools required.

The lift bar is secured by two heavy-duty stainless steel pins positioned behind the AR500 front shield. Simply remove the cotter pins, slide out the lift bar, and lower the targets below their normal operating height. The targets can then be rocked out of the hinge through a precision-cut access slot.

The heavy-duty hinge design provides full target movement while preventing the targets from accidentally disengaging during operation.

Heavy-Duty Reset System

Forget flimsy ropes and straps. The Big Dog Steel Plate Rack uses a braided, coated steel cable for a durable and reliable reset system.

Simply tie your preferred rope or paracord through the built-in cable loop and you’re ready to shoot.

Each target also includes Grade 8 hardware, providing secure mounting, easy angle adjustment, and long-term reliability.
