Refund and Returns Policy

At Big Dog Steel we take customer satisfaction very seriously. Products purchased directly from Big Dog Steel, which are still under warranty, may be returned for replacement or refund, according to our policy below.

Overview

We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 15 days of your purchase, between 15 & 30 days since your purchase, you may be offered store credit, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

If Big Dog Steel ships you the wrong product and/or products arrive broken or damaged

  • You can return the item(s) within 15 days of purchase, in original packaging
  • You can select product replacement, refund or store credit
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • We will cover shipping costs back to us
  • Items that are used, altered or damaged will not be subject to a full refund

If you have ordered the wrong product, size or are not satisfied with your purchase

  • You can return the item(s) within 15 days of purchase
  • Returns must be in new, unused and unaltered condition with original packaging
  • Original, as well as, return shipping costs will not be refunded or paid.

WARRANTY POLICY:

Our warranties vary in length from product-to-product, but all carry the same coverage.

If a product breaks due to defective parts or workmanship

  • We will replace it for you within the warranty period
  • Products cannot be altered or modified
  • Return shipping costs will not be refunded or paid
  • In some cases we may request that defective products be sent back to us

If a product fails due to abuse, mishandling, failure to follow instructions, alteration or accident

  • We will NOT replace said product free of charge
  • Products can be returned and we will do our best to repair at our cost
  • Products that can’t be repaired will be discarded
  • Return shipping costs will not be refunded or paid

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@bigdogsteel.com and will will send .

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Clearance items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
